We collaborate with local organizations that positively impact and focus on educating the next generation of leaders. We also engage and inspire the future workforce through extensive educational outreach programs by nurturing their potential passion.
Start to Work Incentive
APC, alongside sister company Decker Concrete, Inc., founded the Start to Work Incentive in 2023. This scholarship is available to graduating high school students planning on entering the workforce or trade school post-high school graduation. Three incentives of $2,000 each are awarded to one student from Western Dubuque High School, Beckman Catholic High School, and Maquoketa Valley High School.
Providing Hands-On Education
APC is dedicated to nurturing a passion for educating the next generation of future construction leaders. We collaborate with local schools to provide on-site learning opportunities for students to explore the diverse career paths within the precast concrete industry. We offer school tours and hands-on experiences with materials to inspire and educate the next generation.
With a family and community-focused mindset, APC, along with other members of the 20 West Industrial Park, organizes an annual movie night event every August. The event commenced in 2020 during the pandemic and has since expanded. This provides a wonderful chance for employees to bring their families and friends to the industrial park to enjoy food, music, and a movie!
