March 2026 was a big month of community involvement for us. We made great progress on current projects, participated in community events, and honored the amazing women who work at our company. We’re excited to share a few highlights and give you a look at what we’ve been working on!
Women In Construction Week (WICW)
The National Women In Construction Week was from March 2nd to March 6th. We took the time to celebrate the incredible women who work for our company! They work in various areas of the business, from finance to human resources, and they all play a role in the company’s success!
Our Finance Director, Heather Stephen, explains why she loves working in the construction industry and shares her advice for anyone looking to start in this field:
“I have been in the construction industry for 20 years and have grown so much. I started as an administrative assistant with a general contractor, eager to learn and grow. I worked hard and have been the Finance Director at Advanced Precast Company for the last 10 years. The construction industry offers many opportunities for those willing to step outside their comfort zones. Always ask for new tasks, be curious, and don’t be afraid to learn something new.”

Community Helpers Program
At APC, we enjoy educating and inspiring the next generation in our community about the concrete industry! Our ready-mix driver, David Smith, visited his daughter during her school’s Community Helpers Program to teach the kids about ready-mix trucks!
Dyersville St. Patrick’s Day Parade
We had a wonderful time participating in the annual parade and enjoyed tossing out plenty of candy. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our amazing employees who generously volunteer and make our community a better place. We tossed out a lot of candy!
Panels on the Move! 🚛💨
As the warmer weather approaches, we’ve noticed a significant increase in our shipping activity. Over the past few weeks, we have shipped more than 140 panels to various projects, and our product has traveled over 14,000 miles. The rise in shipping has allowed us to free up yard storage space to prepare for more projects.
